Garden Torch,

Thanks for your question!

In chemistry, paraffin is the common name for the alkane hydrocarbons with the general formula CnH2n+2. Paraffin wax refers to the solids. In the United States Paraffin Oil is commonly called Kerosene.

Citronella oil is one of the essential oils obtained from the leaves and stems of different species of Cymbopogon. The oil is used extensively as a source of perfumery chemicals such as citronellal, citronellol and geraniol. These chemicals find extensive use in soap, perfumery, cosmetic and flavouring industries throughout the world.

Citronella oil is a renowned plant-based insect repellent, and has been registered for this use in the United States since 1948. The United States Environmental Protection Agencyý considers oil of citronella as a biopesticide with a non-toxic mode of action. Research also shows that citronella oil has strong antifungal properties, and is effective in calming barking dogs. (via Wikipedia)

Hope this answers your question.
I bought a bar of the "bug soap" for my daughter and it works! Bugs used to eat her alive and now they hardly bite her at all. We love it and highly recommend it!

Hi, Wrigley,
I'm so glad I got to meet you and feed you some cookies. You have the softest fur, must be that wonderful soap you market so well. Come downtown any time and see us at the visitor's center. My coworker, Mary Ann, would love to meet you some Monday, she just loves fur kids. She has 2 feline types at her house.
Later, handsome. Here's a cyber cuddle.

Don't forget about the gift basket of soap you donated to the Monty's Home Pet Expo silent auction. That's one more clean doggie in Wilmingtong AND you helped save, train and re-home a homeless dog with that donation!

You and your humans ROCK!!
