Monty’s Home Pet Expo
Monty’s Home Pet Expo is Sunday, February 8th at the Schwartz Center in Downtown Wilmington, NC (610 N. Front Street). The expo gives an opportunity for vendors from all over to promote new and different, and old reliable pet items and services to citizens of Wilmington and surrounding counties. Pet lovers are expected to flock to the expo.
Our soaps will be at the booth for Aunt Kerry’s Pet Stop. In addition to the canine soaps already available, we will have a new scent – Cedar wood, and also soap made with Neem Oil, which is very good for pets with skin conditions. If you are in the area on Sunday, try to make it on down to the Schwartz Center between 11-5. For this opportunity to learn about pet care and perhaps pick up something for your pet companion.
New Dog Soaps coming soon
Another Super Bowl has come and gone, and this one was a great one. Even if your team didn’t win, you must admit the game was a nail bitter. Fortunately, my team won! Which makes it easier to say “It was a GREAT game”. The Super Bowl was even better because our party was fabulous. We have some great friends! If we accomplish nothing more, we have made great friends in our lives.
Gayle and I along with one of our great friends have embarked on a year long triathlon challenge. As usual we are doing this in a unusual manner. Our three events are peddling (cycling), paddling (canoe / kayak) and Propel (walking /running). We are going to cycle, canoe/kayak, and walk/run a cumulative total of 4800 miles. This distance will take us virtually from Pasquotank County in northern NC to Polynesia (Hawaii); thus the title of our challenge – Pasquotank to Polynesia. We began yesterday February 2, 2009 and will complete it on or before February 2, 2010. You can follow our adventure on our blog at Not Your Mom's Blog. I’m looking forward to accomplishing our goal and as an added bonus we will enjoy some adventures outside as well.
Tonight we will be making some soap for Monty’s Home Pet Expo this weekend. Our soaps will be at the booth for Aunt Kerry’s Pet Stop. In addition to the canine soaps already available, we will have a new scent – Cedar wood, and also soap made with Neem Oil, which is very good for pets with skin conditions. If you are in the area, try to head on down to the Schwartz Center in downtown Wilmington between 11-5 on Sunday.
