The Super Bowl is tomorrow. We usually have a Super Bowl party! For many years we have has a Souper Bowl Party. Every family brings a pot of Soup and you end up with many different varieties, which are fun to try. There are always those (like us) who are football fans and want to watch the game. Then there are those who want to watch the commercials. Lastly, there are those who just want to come and be a part of the party. It’s a fun time! I am a Carolina Panthers fan (we came so close this year). Jenn has been a Steelers fan since she was a little girl. We were very hopeful that the season would end with our teams playing each other. Twas not to be. A few years ago when Carolina made the Super Bowl, we had a huge party. It was a great fun party. Unfortunately, at the end of the night we found that we had been successful in hosting a grand party, but not successful in doing what we enjoy…watching football! We vowed then to never have a huge party when either of our teams we in the Big Game! This year is no exception. We have invited a few friends to come watch the game. Some who will watch the game; some who will watch the commercials; and those who just want to be a part of the party. We have invited them with the understanding that we are watching the game. We will show them the kitchen, the facilities, the pool table, the foosball table or the quiet living room. They are on their own for anything else.
